We are looking at the earliest possible date for a full-time and unlimited
software developer (all gender) for scientific applications, as a reinforcement in one of our agile development teams within
KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA in
Einbeck, Germany. After an onboarding phase, we can also coordinate on remote work within Germany.
In full-stack development, you have the task of implementing and further developing new tools around our established laboratory information system. These are applications that are required by the employees in the laboratory as part of the digitization of our laboratory processes and are used, for example, for quality assurance in the various work steps.
What you can expect with us:
Together with a small, well-rehearsed team of product owners for our laboratory information system (LIMS), you will take over the further and new development of software applications that are connected to the laboratory information system and this to expand KWS-specific requirements. Furthermore, you integrate various hardware systems, from scales and printers to PH meters and KWS' own hardware consisting of mobile data acquisition devices and Windows tablets. You feel comfortable with web based technologies but can also deal with Desktop applications. By applying modern DevOps techniques and with the support of our DevOps experts in the other project teams, you ensure smooth and efficient operation of the software.
What you score with:
- Practical experience in professional software development (e.B. SOLID principles, dependency injection, mocking, CI/CD pipelines)
- Very good knowledge of C# and ASP.NET (core)
- Good knowledge of web technologies (CSS, HTML5, JavaScript) and with WPF
- Safe handling of GIT, Windows, Linux and relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL)
- Speaking and writing in English and the ability to exchange about work topics
What you can (but don't have to) bring in as a plus:
- Good knowledge of Azure DevOps or GitLab Pipelines
- Knowledge of .NET Blazor and Docker
- Basic knowledge of Java and/or VB.NET
- Knowledge of agile software development (e.B. SCRUM)
- German language skills
